FOR ALL CLASSES: Application, payment, and proof of vaccination required

Agility, Scent Work, Tracking, and Rally classes are all registered online only. Click on the class you want to register for, fill out the form, and pay using PayPal or a credit card.
For Obedience, Conformation, and Tricks classes, mail-in registrations are used. Please follow all directions on the mail-in form. 

Class Fees: 

  • The fee for an 8-week class is $104 and for a 4-week class, $52. 
  • The discounted (half-price) repeat fee will apply to the first repeat of only the classes at Basic Obedience, Introduction to Agility, Beginning Agility, and Foundations of Agility I and II levels.  Any subsequent repetitions at each of those levels would be at full price.

The Health and Safety of our dogs is of the utmost importance to SDOC; therefore dogs training or visiting the club are required to be current on vaccinations.  See the SDOC Vaccination Policy for complete details.  Kindly Keep a copy of your vaccination records with you at all times.

DO NOT PLACE YOUR APPLICATION IN THE MAIL SLOT AT THE SDOC BUILDING. You must MAIL your application to the appropriate registrar as noted on the application form

All SDOC classes are limited in size.

Some classes use an online sign up system. You'll need to create an account and follow the instructions in the SIGN UP ONLINE classes.

You MUST include your name, address, phone number and email on the application so that we can contact you.

Receipt of the application does not guarantee a place in the class.

Emailed applications are not accepted by some registrars. Please check with the registrar prior to emailing them an application.

To avoid misplacement, please attach your check to your application.

We do not maintain wait lists except for Agility classes. If the class is full, The applicant is notified and the applications, checks, and shot records for dogs that did not make it into the class are shredded.

Class Fees (starting Jan 1, 2024)

8 week classes are $104.00 (including tax)

6 week classes (such as Puppy Kindergarten) are $84.00 (including tax)

4 week classes are $52.00 (including tax)

Rescue Discount of 25% is available for One Obedience Class and One Agility Class.

8 week classes - discounted price is $78 (including tax)

6 week classes - discounted price is $63 (including tax)

Retaking a class: If you retake the same class with the same dog within 6-months, the fee is discounted by 50%. 

Drill and Skill Class Fees: $10/class/dog. Punch Cards are available at a cost of $100 for 11 sessions (purchase from your drill instructor). 

Agility Class Fees: 

  • The fee for an 8-week class is $104 and for a 4-week class, $52.

  • For Competition I and Competition II classes, the full fee will apply to each 8-week session, including any repeat of either of those levels.  

Junior Handlers: Junior handlers must be at least 16 and under 18 years of age. Younger handlers will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The fee for Junior Handlers and their dogs is $50 (incl tax). Please contact the appropriate registrar for more information. The Junior Handler must be the one handling/training the dog. Junior Handlers need to submit the Sandia Dog Obedience Junior Handler PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE and AUTHORIZATION FOR MEDICAL SERVICES form to the trainer on the first day of class.
