FOR ALL CLASSES: Application, payment, and proof of vaccination required

Important reminder: All SDOC classes are limited in size. Except for classes that are signed up for online, mail your completed and signed application, proof of the dog's vaccinations, and your payment to the appropriate registrar. It must be received at least one day prior to the class start date and prior to the time the class limit is reached. For online class registration, follow the instructions in the email you receive after signing up.

The Health and Safety of our dogs is of the utmost importance to SDOC; therefore dogs training or visiting the club are required to be current on vaccinations.  See the SDOC Vaccination Policy for complete details.  Kindly Keep a copy of your vaccination records with you at all times.

DO NOT PLACE YOUR APPLICATION IN THE MAIL SLOT AT THE SDOC BUILDING. You must MAIL your application to the appropriate registrar as noted on the application form

All SDOC classes are limited in size.

You MUST include your name, address, phone number and email on the application so that we can contact you.

Receipt of the application does not guarantee a place in the class.

Emailed applications are not accepted.

To avoid misplacement, please staple your check to your application.

We no longer maintain wait lists for obedience classes. If the class is full, the applications, checks, and shot records for dogs that did not make it into the class are shredded. Agility does maintain a waiting list.

Class Fees (starting Jan 1, 2024)

8 week classes are $104.00 (including tax)

6 week classes (such as Puppy Kindergarten) are $84.00 (including tax)

4 week classes are $52.00 (including tax)

Rescue Discount of 25% is available for One Obedience Class and One Agility Class.

8 week classes - discounted price is $78 (including tax)

6 week classes - discounted price is $63 (including tax)

Retaking a class: If you retake the same class with the same dog within 6-months, the fee is discounted by 50%. 

Drill and Skill Class Fees: $10/class/dog. Punch Cards are available at a cost of $100 for 11 sessions (purchase from your drill instructor). 

Junior Handlers: The fees for Junior Handlers (who must be at least 16 and under 18) and their dogs is $50 (incl tax). The Junior Handler must be the one handling/training the dog. Junior Handlers need to submit the Sandia Dog Obedience Junior Handler PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE and AUTHORIZATION FOR MEDICAL SERVICES form to the trainer on the first day of class.
