Description

HOW TO AVOID LOSING POINTS IN OBEDIENCE DUE TO HANDLING ERRORS

PRESENTED BY OBEDIENCE JUDGE SUE OVIATT-HARRIS
AT SANDIA DOG OBEDIENCE CLUB TRAINING CENTER
AUG. 14, 2022, 1-5 PM
FREE TO CLUB MEMBERS; $25 NONMEMBERS

Nonmembers will pay at the door when they arrive. Make checks out to Jill Warren.

Do you want to improve your scores in obedience? Are you losing points due to lack of knowledge of how to apply the rules to the way you handle in the ring? Do you know if the judge has deducted points for handling errors? Do you know what the Miscellaneous line on your score represents?

You may have trained your dog to execute the exercises very well but still be losing points because of simple errors that you could easily correct if someone coaches you on how to handle according to the rules. Sue Oviatt-Harris, obedience judge, can help! She is offering a half-day workshop to help you avoid making those handling errors. If you do that, you can add several points to your score for every trial you enter now and all trials in the future. This workshop is for anyone, whether you are new to the ring or an experienced handler.

This seminar is for people only - no dogs. A couple of dogs will be specifically invited for demonstration purposes.

Please register so we will have a head count.
