In keeping with the NM Governor's Public Health Order dated Nov 13, 2020, all facilities at SDOC, including the agility yard, are closed. Stay home, train your dog there, and stay in touch with friends via text, email, video, social media, or telephone. Stay safe and healthy.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By attending any Sandia Dog Obedience Club class or event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Starting July 1st, 2020, the sign up procedure will use a new addon/app on the SDOC website. To expedite things the next time you sign up for a drill, you can create and activate an account on the website. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SIGNING UP FOR A DRILL

  • ONE DOG per HANDLER per DRILL
  • You may sign up for a drill in each of the four categories (obedience, agility, rally, and scent work) when the drills open. First drill (and only the first drill) in each category - training privileges apply.
  • Second drill: EVERYONE pays, you MUST wait until 24 hours before the drill starts to sign up. Note that there are NO training privileges for second and subsequent drills.
  • For rally and obedience/freestyle only: you may sign up for more than two drills using the same limitations and rules state above for the second drill
  • Sign-up for a drill/skill will be available at 9AM as follows:
    • Scent Work and Rally opens on Fridays
    • Agility opens on Saturday
    • Obedience (including Freestyle) opens on Sunday
  • If you've made an account on the website previously, please activate the account using the link in the account confirmation email and sign in.
  • If you do not have an account, you please create one before you sign up for a drill
  • Click on the "Drill Sign Up" in the top menu. Or go to this link: https://sdocnm.org/index.php/drill-sign-up
  • Read these instructions
  • Scroll down to see the drills and skills available for sign-up. If there is a GREEN "Attend" button, the drill is open for registration.
  • Click on the green ATTEND button in the drill or skill class you want to participate in.
  • Scroll down to view a new page with a form that opened with the details of the class. 
  • If you have not previously created an account - fill in your email address, password, username, and first and last name
  • If you do have an account, be sure you are signed in - you'll just need to fill in your name in the sign-in form
  • Read the health procedures carefully. It is important to be familiar with them before you attend a class.
  • Click on the green "Click to Attend" button. You should see a message at the top of the page saying your registration was successful
  • And you’re done. You may close the window.
  • You should receive an email confirming that you signed up for the class. If you don’t receive the email, check your spam folder. If it’s not there, you can check what classes you are signed up for under the "User Profile" menu item. If you run into problems, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. INSTRUCTIONS FOR WAITING LIST

  • When a drill is full, but not closed, there will be a WAIT LIST button
  • To get on the waiting list, click on the button
  • Scroll down. If the event has not closed, click the "Click to Attend" button. You will be on the waiting list.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANCELLING YOUR SIGN-UP FOR A DRILL

  • Sign into the website with your username and password
  • Click on the "Drill Sign Up" in the top menu.
  • Scroll down and click on the drill you wish to cancel your registration for.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the white sign-up form. Where you see "Attend this class? (yes to attend, no to cancel registration)" click on the "No" radio button.
  • Click on the green "Click to Update" button.
  • You should see a message at the top of the page saying your cancelation was successful
  • And you're done. You may close the window.
  • You should receive an email confirming that you cancelled your registration for the class. If you don’t receive the email, check your spam folder.
