Obedience - Beginner Novice, Begins: Thursday Jun 15 at 7:30pm

Instructor: Deb Tabor, Assistant: TBD

The Beginner Novice class is designed to prepare you to compete in the Beginner Novice class at obedience trials. Prerequisite for this class is the completion of a Basic Novice or KPT class and/or some ability to sit, stay, come and walk on lead. Refinement of these exercises will be part of this class, so perfection is not expected.  Along with practicing the required exercises and gaining better control of your dog, instruction will also focus on handling techniques, footwork, signs, scoring, principle features of the exercises, as well as all aspects of what to expect at a dog show. At least 80% of this class will be working your dog, so be prepared by wearing comfortable shoes and clothing.

Length: 6 weeks
